I'm glad they are still keep the note 4 alive. Now we just need our hands on a stock deodexed rooted mm rom and see if mega is interested. The bad part is with that bootloader we will be stuck on mm.. not like 5.0.1 COD we can bounce back to KK NK4.. with a MEGA FIRE rom it might be worth it..lol

I am still running un-rooted MM on my T-moble Note 5 and it kicks ass! ..... I used a de-bloating app (Package Disabler Pro), and Nova Launcher.
Battery is great and it runs quite smooth......I didn't want to root because I like using Samsung Pay.
I will definitely be rooting the hell out of the Note 4 though, to satisfy my flashing needs. I will keep my eyes peeled on XDA for a Stock-Deodexed- Rooted MM rom, since based on my MM experience on the Note 5, I don't care being stuck on MM on the Note 4.

.... and damn KennyG123, how many of those gizmos do you still have in your sig?

You know you can run greenify on your unrooted note 5 I'm running it. Now I read on the note 4 system less root is allowing them to use pay. I don't use it. All my devices in my signature I still have and some older ones I don't have on there not including my five tabs..lol I like to tinker when I get bored...lol

I used Package Disabler Pro to "remove" T-Mobile's bloat and a few others. These apps will never execute on Startup period. MM has built in "DOZE" which I think effects apps after the phone is on standby for a certain amount of time (Good especially while you are sleeping). "DOZE" however, will awaken the app as needed.
I read that GREENIFY hibernates them until you turn the phone back on (which means no notification until you turn the phone back on???)...... Both useful in their own ways. I guess a combination of the three should theoretically be the best scenario.
I'll add GREENIFY to my Note 5 and see if there are further improvements.
Thanks for the info you provided.

P.S.... Love all the gizmos you are surrounded by.... If I lived near you, I would hang!

ya i use PDP too but with mm you can adjust perrmissions and turn off auto start apps to keep wakelocks down that would of been nice on kk and lp.. still need to turn greenify on in settings just like on a rooted device but its been doing its job so far...

Gregma, thanks for the link.
Question, is this a complete un-bloated rom or are things already extracted? Is there a thread somewhere to give any details? Thanks again.

If you have winrar you can open it up and click on system you can see what apk apps are in the rom private app and so on its not deflated. I didn't see a whole lot of tmo stuff though..

While I'm thinking about it there is a way to remove apps/bloat ware from a rom before install it's a little more risky  some apps are dependent with each other in did see a write up once I can't remember what device. I know you said you use pay few people I read that have systemless root said they were able to use pay also. I never tried it don't like it because of a few root apps I use. I do have another device base I found after Gregma posted his link I think tekhd pull his link that Greg had it looks about the same with stock kernel also butchieboy last post said note 7 going to be more for business Security so it may be locked.

The following ROM at XDA, seems to serve my needs and more. Bloat removed, Exposed works, and a selectable MODs package/feature:
[ROM] Maximum OvrDriVE 6.0.1 MM V.6 (7/9/16) [910T/910W8/910T3]

It also includes fixes like being able to do SuperSU SystemLess to SystemMode, ExtSDCard, Netflix fix etc and a ton of add-ons like Viper4Android, Call Recorder etc ........... and most of the kinks seemed to be already worked out.

As far as Pay, I only used SAMSUNG Pay, which doesn't work on the Note 4 anyways and it is not THAT important for me not to enjoy my phone to the fullest. Even though the ability to just swipe your phone is cool.. I have a Note 5, if really needed.
